Technological Process of Rotary Tunnel Kiln

The brick blanks remain stationary while the kiln body rotates. Entirely made of steel structure, the kiln runs along the circular track, consisting of drying section, preheating section, firing section, heat preservation section and cooling section in sequence. The blank distributing machine operates in the same direction as the kiln to distribute and stack blanks simultaneously. The rotating kiln moves intermittently on the track. It takes in brick blanks at the front end and discharges finished bricks at the rear end, completing the whole process of drying, preheating, firing, cooling and brick output in order.

Raw Material Pretreatment

Raw materials such as gangue, shale, clay and sludge are fed into distribution bins by loaders, then crushed and screened by drum screens before being transported to material piles for temporary storage. Dust generated during the process is collected and treated by top-mounted dust removers to meet environmental protection standards.

Coal Gangue

It features hard texture and good wear resistance. Bricks made from it have high strength and excellent durability, ideal for producing load-bearing bricks, perforated bricks and other building materials.

Shale

It is hard and compact. Bricks made of shale boast outstanding compression resistance, weather resistance and freeze-thaw resistance with long service life.

Clay

Natural clay has fine particles and good adhesiveness. It is easy to shape after adding water, which helps steadily produce brick blanks in various shapes with a high yield rate.

Sludge

It contains organic matter and moisture, which improves the plasticity and adhesion of the mixture and reduces cracking of brick blanks.

Material Aging and Feeding

The mobile feeder travels back and forth on steel rails to evenly distribute materials throughout the aging workshop. High-performance hydraulic multi-bucket machines take aged materials and feed them onto belt conveyors. Materials are further refined by a twin-shaft mixer, then mixed and extruded by a two-stage vacuum brick extruder. The extruded material is cut into strips by an automatic strip cutter, divided into brick blanks by an automatic blank cutter, and finally conveyed to the blank distributing platform.

Brank Conveying and Stacking

Robots pick up brick blanks from the distributing platform and place them onto the annular conveyor, which rotates around the kiln body for material transport.
Another manipulator transfers blanks to the staging area, and intelligent robots automatically stack them on the kiln floor.

Movable Kiln Automatic Sintering

The kiln moves automatically. Brick blanks go through drying, dehumidification, preheating, sintering and cooling inside the kiln in sequence.
Equipped with temperature sensors, the kiln transmits real-time data for centralized monitoring in the fully automatic control room.

Waste Gas Purification

Flue gas is discharged through the underground inner flue and sent to the purification system by fans.
Acidic gas is neutralized with alkaline water, then dust and fine particles are removed via wet electrostatic precipitator before standard-compliant emission.

Finished Product Output

Sintered bricks are discharged from the tail of the kiln and transported by brick clamps to vehicles. Forklifts or brick clamps can be selected for loading as required to complete the entire production process.
